December 2002 - Our two week honeymoon has just been amazing and memorable. Everyone at the Royal Pavilion has been so friendly and helpful - from watersports to cocktails (happy hour 5 pm - 6 pm, two drinks for one!!) - who could ask for more at sunset.

Your house is perfect, everything we could have dreamed of and more. We highly recommend a trip (or several) on the yellow buses - some of our best adventures have been on these and for any future visitors do not miss the 'Fisherman's Pub' at Speightstown for your introduction to Bajan food. Last word of advice - snorkel and swim every day - there's so much out there to see. Wishing everyone who stays in this magical house a wonderful stay - just like ours has been.

March 2003 - Well, Colin and Ingrid, What can we say, people after our own heart - a beautiful villa - warm weather, friendly people, good food, great time …..! Our fourth visit which gets better each time. No doubt we will return.

November 2003 - Thank you for letting us stay in your beautiful villa. We have had a wonderful time and hope to return soon. Highlights were: the yellow buses, we often chose to travel on these even though we hired a car, they were such good fun. Oistins on a Friday night - what an experience, the Fisherman's Pub on a Wednesday night - only for the broad minded!

The Bajan people are fantastic and quite rightly proud of their island and want visitors to enjoy it and oh boy, we enjoyed it!

March 2004 - Our introduction to the Caribbean and in particular Barbados, has been momentous. Apart from the obvious benefits of a lovely climate, stunning beaches and warm sea our lasting memory is of a delightful, courteous and hospitable population who all seem to have our enjoyment as a number one priority and the eating out was spectacular. May 2005 - This is our second week here in Barbados, we love it and nobody wants to go home. There's so much to see and do! We have had a hire car and seen most of the island during our stay plus days out, eg Atlantis submarine trip, and 'Cool Running' catamaran (an absolute must!). We've swum with turtles and fish off the reef at Folkstone and Paynes Bay. We've tried a variety of restaurants from the Fish Pot, Cocomos, The Coach House etc all very good especially Fish Pot. Many thanks Colin and Ingrid for the use of your beautiful 'House in the Sun'.

October 2005 - We have really enjoyed our two week long-awaited holiday here, on this most beautiful island with its most beautiful beaches, flora and fauna. February 2006 - Number One Porters Court was exactly as you both described - a second home. We were able to relax here. The verandah was a great boon - either as a wonderful place to sit having breakfast or, as in a few days, a shelter from the short burst of tropical rain. Erna kept the place spotless and Dennis has created beautiful colourful gardens. Lucky you to have this place to come to from time to time.

March 2006 - Enjoyed a wonderful stay, relaxing, comfortable, peaceful setting. Erna and Dennis looked after us exceptionally well. Tried many restaurants and enjoyed them all. Our 20th visit to the Island but our first to Number One but, hopefully, not our last. Looking forward to returning to your beautiful home next year if you are still kind enough to let other people enjoy your home. March 2006 - Barbados far exceeded our hopes, with its beautiful beaches, clear seas and contrasting scenery. The people are so friendly and helpful. Even our taxi driver dropped by for a chat. Superb restaurants - must be some of the best in the world. Number One Porters Court felt like a home from home. We really appreciated Erna's help and her friendliness. Apart from saying 'interesting' roads (!) we've run out of superlatives. A wonderful, memorable holiday. Thanks to Colin and Ingrid for their care and support.

April 2006 - A truly great twelve days here - hardly a drop of rain! Although 30 seconds after we walked to the Lone Star restaurant for dinner last night the heavens opened for ten minutes! Villa in nice secluded spot, lots of time spent on verandah where we have seen lots of bird and wild life. Very nice accommodation - just about everything you need. The pool here was lovely and we spent lots of time there. We have been to Barbados a couple of times before and so didn't venture out much this time and this property is perfect for a lazy holiday - would certainly return.
